Advisors & Ambassadors

Dr Lisa Mooney  “has worked in Higher Education for over 20 years where she has continually worked at the interface between interdisciplinary scholarship and business. She has a background in fine art and critical theory, but is best known for her work on the study of collaborative research practices and interdisciplinary research methodology. Her current work explores how traditional arts and humanities disciplines might be better enabled to interact with the new demands of the knowledge transfer environment, and particularly how academic institutional practices enhance or inhibit these types of interactions”.

Skinder Hundal is the co-founder of quarrylab and CEO of the New Art Exchange in Nottingham. He is also Executive Producer for EM15Venice consortium, Executive/Artistic Director for Nottingham Mela, an Area member on Arts Council England’s Midlands Council and Director/Trustee of Primary Artist Studio.

Mark Rawlinson is an Associate Professor for the Faculty of Arts at the University of Nottingham. His states his “research and teaching focuses on the development of American art, photography, visual culture of 20th and 21st Centuries as well as critical and photographic theory. I am particularly interested in the ways photography has influenced art and artists, as well as the impact of modernism and conceptual art practices on serious photography during this period”.

  • Marjolijn Brussaard is currently Vice Chancellor of ArtEZ, Institute of the Arts in the Netherlands, and was formerly Dean of the school of Art and Design at Nottingham Trent University.
  • Reyahn King is the CEO of York Museums Trust. She was previously Director of Art Galleries at National museums Liverpool, and Head of Exhibitions and Interpretation at Birmingham Museums and Art Gallery.
